Fire protection systems in Ludhiana — design, installation & AMC

From our registered head office on Gill Road we design and install fire hydrant and riser systems, automatic sprinklers, fire pumps, fire alarm and suppression for factories, warehouses and commercial buildings across Ludhiana — and we inspect, repair and maintain systems that are already installed. Tell us which of the three you need and the right engineer picks it up.

Fire fighting contractor in Ludhiana — three ways to start

A new installation, a system that needs looking after and a supply order are different jobs, with different people and different paperwork. Pick the one that matches your site.

New system or expansion

Who it is for. Factories, warehouses, hospitals, hotels, campuses and commercial buildings putting in fire protection for the first time, extending a shed, or changing its use.

Scope. Hydrant and wet/dry riser networks, automatic sprinklers, fire pumps and the pump room, addressable or conventional detection and alarm, and gas or special-hazard suppression where the risk calls for it.

What we need from you. Site address, building drawings (or a sketch with dimensions), occupancy and what is stored, any fire-authority or insurer letter, and whether a water tank or pump room already exists.

What you get. Design to NBC 2016 Part 4 and the IS codes for each system, drawings and a BOQ, installation, hydrostatic and flow tests, a pump performance run, as-built drawings, the O&M manual, and the Fire NOC file prepared for inspection.

Existing system — inspection, faults or AMC

Who it is for. Sites whose hydrant, sprinkler, alarm or pumps are already installed — by us or by someone else — and are due a renewal, have a fault, or need a maintenance contract.

Scope. A condition inspection of what is installed, fault-finding on pumps, panels, valves and detection, rectification of the defects found, and a preventive AMC with a logbook the Fire NOC renewal can rely on. Extinguisher placement, refilling and AMC sit here too.

What we need from you. What systems are installed and roughly when, the last service record or logbook if there is one, any fault you are seeing, and your Fire NOC renewal date.

What you get. A written inspection finding with the defects listed, a rectification scope priced separately from the AMC, and — if you take the AMC — the visit schedule, the checks done on each visit and the logbook entries.

Equipment supply against a defined list

Who it is for. Buyers who already know what they need — extinguishers, hose reels, valves, sprinkler heads or alarm devices — and want it supplied rather than installed.

Scope. Supply of the listed items in the makes and quantities you specify, or a compliant alternative proposed and named for you to approve. Installation is quoted separately if you want it.

What we need from you. The item list with quantities, the makes or approvals your consultant or insurer requires, and the delivery location.

What you get. A quotation line by line, with makes and models stated. Nothing is substituted without your written approval.

Buying

What a fire protection quotation from us contains

Fire quotations in Ludhiana are hard to compare because they leave out different things. Ours is built so you can put it next to any other bid, line by line:

  • Scope matrix. System by system — hydrant, sprinkler, pumps, detection, suppression — what is in our scope and what is not.
  • Makes and models. Named for each major item, from the makes your consultant or insurer accepts; alternatives shown as alternatives, never swapped silently.
  • Quantities. Measured from your drawings or BOQ, so two bids can be compared line by line instead of on a headline.
  • Client dependencies. Who builds the fire water tank and pump-room civil works, who provides power to the pump panel, and what access we need — stated, not assumed.
  • Testing and documents. The hydrostatic, flow and pump tests we will carry out, and the as-builts, O&M manual and Fire NOC documents you receive at handover.
  • Programme assumptions. What the schedule depends on — site readiness, approvals, long-lead pumps — written down so a delay has a known cause.
  • Warranty and AMC boundary. Where the defects-liability period ends and a maintenance contract begins, so nobody is surprised by the first post-handover call.
  • Payment milestones. Linked to delivered stages — material on site, installation, testing, handover — not to the calendar.

Our guide to evaluating fire protection quotes shows what to check on any bid, including ours.

Approvals

Fire NOC in Ludhiana — who issues it

Fire NOCs in Punjab now run under the Punjab Fire and Emergency Service Act, 2024, administered by Punjab Fire and Emergency Services (Local Government Dept.). A new installation is designed so the file can be submitted; an existing one is inspected against what the renewal inspection will check.

We prepare the drawings and the file and support the inspection. The NOC is issued by the authority — no contractor can promise it. The process step by step is in our Fire NOC guide for Punjab.

Working in an estate? The estate pages carry the local detail: Focal Point, Dhandari Kalan and Industrial Area A & B.

Beyond fire

The rest of the building from the same Ludhiana office

Fire protection is often one package among several on a factory. The same office delivers electrical, HVAC and plumbing — see MEP & solar EPC in Ludhiana — and rooftop solar for factories, which has its own buying route: solar EPC contractor in Punjab. Cameras, access control and fire-alarm integration sit under our low-voltage / ELV scope.

New system, expansion or a shed being re-planned — tell us the building and what the authority or insurer has asked for. An engineer reviews it and tells you what we need to quote properly.

FAQ

Fire protection in Ludhiana — straight answers

Do you install fire fighting systems in Ludhiana?

Yes. Our registered head office is at 2480/1, Gill Rd, near Grewal Hospital, Janta Nagar, Ludhiana, Punjab 141003. From it we design and install hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump, fire alarm and suppression systems across Ludhiana — Focal Point, Dhandari Kalan, Industrial Area A and B and the rest of the city — and across Punjab.

Can you inspect or maintain a fire system that someone else installed?

Yes — we inspect it first and put the findings in writing. That inspection decides whether the system can go straight onto an AMC or needs rectification before a maintenance contract can honestly cover it. Rectification and AMC are priced separately so you can see which is which.

What do you need from me to quote a hydrant or sprinkler system?

The building drawings or a dimensioned sketch, the occupancy and what is stored, the site address, and any letter from the fire authority or insurer. If you have a BOQ or a consultant's scheme, send that too — we will price it as drawn and tell you separately if we think anything is missing.

Who issues the Fire NOC in Ludhiana?

In Punjab the Fire NOC sits under the Punjab Fire and Emergency Service Act, 2024, administered by Punjab Fire and Emergency Services (Local Government Dept.). We prepare the drawings and the file, and support the inspection; the NOC itself is issued by the authority, not by a contractor.

Is there a minimum job size?

No. New systems and expansions, inspections and AMCs, and scoped supply are all quoted. Large packages — our scope of ₹50 lakh or more, with a tender or BOQ — can come through the RFQ route instead, which is reviewed by an engineer with the full pack in hand. If you do not yet know the budget, leave the value blank; that is a normal place to start.
