Fire NOC for factories in Himachal Pradesh

If you’re planning a Fire NOC for a pharma or industrial unit in Baddi, Barotiwala, Nalagarh, Parwanoo or Kala Amb, the process runs under the HP Fire Fighting Services Act, 1984 — the oldest, most stable fire law across our operating states, administered by the Directorate of Fire Services, Himachal Pradesh.

This page covers what’s specific to Himachal Pradesh. For the full NBC 2016 engineering — the two-stage process, document checklist, cost drivers, and the 10 reasons fire schemes get rejected — see the complete Fire NOC guide.

Who issues it, and under what law

Pharma-heavy fire scheme design in BBN

Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh is India’s largest pharma manufacturing cluster, and pharma occupancies bring their own fire-engineering considerations: clean-agent suppression around cleanroom and process areas (rather than water-based systems that could damage validated equipment), and fire-detection integrated with the facility’s environmental controls. Kala Amb, in neighbouring Sirmaur district, adds paper, metal-processing and chemical-handling occupancies with their own distinct hazard profile — different from BBN’s pharma core even though both fall under the same 1984 Act.

Where we work in Himachal Pradesh

We deliver fire-NOC design and filing across HP’s industrial belt: Baddi, Barotiwala, Nalagarh, Parwanoo, and Kala Amb — see the full Himachal Pradesh zone list.
