What an engineer looks at: a suitable system size range for your site; how much of your roof is realistically usable once shading, skylights and walkways are taken out; how much of your consumption falls in daylight hours, because that is what solar can actually offset; an indicative investment range; and the engineering checks that come next — sanctioned-load headroom, roof structure and the DISCOM route for your district.
Assumptions we state rather than hide: generation figures are modelled from regional averages, not measured at your site. Indicative costs are exclusive of GST and exclude roof strengthening, HT-side works, battery storage and statutory fees.
What this is not: not a detailed engineering design, not a guaranteed saving, not an assurance that any approval will be granted, and not a commitment to a site visit. Your connected load is not the same as the solar capacity you can install, and solar offsets energy charges — it does not make an entire bill disappear. Haryana splits between two utilities on a north/south line, and the two lists below together account for all 22 districts. Which one you fall under decides where the net-metering application goes — a Gurugram plant and a Karnal plant do not file to the same nigam.
UHBVN — Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam · Panchkula
UHBVN is the distribution licensee in 10 districts: Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak and Jhajjar.
UHBVN's own published list uses Kurukhsetra for Kurukshetra and Sonepat for Sonipat.

DHBVN — Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam · Hisar
DHBVN is the distribution licensee in 12 districts: Faridabad, Palwal, Nuh, Gurugram, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Jind.
DHBVN's own published list uses Mohindergarh for Mahendragarh.
DHBVN carries the NCR industrial load — Faridabad, Gurugram, Rewari and the Manesar belt — so its net-metering queue behaves differently from UHBVN’s.

Which electrical inspectorate approves solar installations in Haryana?
The Chief Electrical Inspector to Government, Haryana — CEIG approval and synchronisation permission are mandatory for HT-connected and larger rooftop systems.
