Demand is calculated on the NBC per-capita or process basis for the occupancy, from which follow the tank capacities, the split between domestic and flushing (treated) water, the pressure zones in a tall building, and the pipe sizes for the flow and the velocity limits that avoid noise and water hammer. We design the risers and distribution, the tank connections, the metering and the isolation valves, and supply and install the pipework, fittings, valves and insulation in the material the specification calls for.

How it is delivered — and what you receive

Every section is hydrostatically tested before it is concealed and the test recorded; the completed network is flushed and disinfected before it is put into service. Cross-connection between potable and treated lines is checked at every point where dual piping runs together. Valves and meters are labelled and their positions recorded on the as-built. The client receives the test certificates, the disinfection record and the valve schedule.
