Why it matters

What this system decides for your project

Under-sized or poorly laid cable is a fire and voltage-drop risk. Engineered cable schedules and bus ducts carry load safely and make future maintenance simple.

You need a quote for this if: Any project laying new power distribution, risers or high-current feeders.

Scope

Scope of work

Cable sizes are calculated for current-carrying capacity with derating for grouping, ambient temperature and installation method, then checked for voltage drop and for the short-circuit withstand the protection allows — the cable schedule records all three. Routes are designed on trays, ladders and raceways with the fill and separation the standards require, and bus ducts are used where the riser current makes cable impractical. We supply and install the cables (FR, FRLS or XLPE as specified), the containment, the terminations and glands, and the bus ducts with their tap-off points.

How it is delivered — and what you receive

Tray routes are coordinated with ducts and pipes before installation — the shared ceiling void is where uncoordinated trades collide. Every cable is insulation-tested before termination and the result logged against the schedule; bus-duct joints are torqued, tested and thermographed at first load. Fire-stopping is completed at every compartment crossing and recorded for the Fire NOC. The client receives the cable schedule with test results, the containment as-built and the fire-stopping register.
